Iran is willing to reinitiate nuclear talks with the United States on condition that it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has announced.

Abbas Araghchi said exclusively dialogue was effective, and disclosed new appeals had originated from intermediaries to restart talks with the US government. He asserted Iran did not have secret atomic facilities, and Iran could not yet permit the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Walking a Challenging Course

The foreign minister is treading a difficult course since Iran aims to avoid appear to be acting from a situation of weakness, and he emphatically stated that Iran had emerged more powerful in military terms and psychologically from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was addressing at a security conference in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an absolute privilege to enrich uranium within its borders that it will perpetually retain" – the main reason of the deadlock in the prior discussions.

Prior Negotiations Abruptly Concluded

The prior phases of talks between the US and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and hostile conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with Washington's assistance, struck Iran's enrichment centers in a 12-day war that concluded with Donald Trump asserting the locations had been obliterated. Afterward, European countries used their right to restore international penalties, but Iran maintains they have not had a substantial consequence.

Ideal Resolution Proposed

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in earlier negotiations, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to declare success since domestic enrichment would have persisted and the US could be certain that Iran's atomic project was entirely non-military.

It had not been agreed in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could work on Iranian soil, but that was a natural consequence of the cooperative offer. Representatives asserted three times they had secured an understanding with Washington's diplomat Steve Witkoff only for the agreement to collapse due to "detractors in America".

Existing Position

Iran's diplomats declared the partnership proposal was now withdrawn, but it seems very probable the offer could be resurrected in various formats if talks restart.

Trump in recent days said he had been getting signals that Iran desired to reopen negotiations, but confidentially Iran's diplomats state they are not yet obtaining consistent overtures from Washington either directly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as Qatar, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been accused of inactivity in the aftermath of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Tehran says dialogue is not part of a show.

Negotiating Stance

In his remarks to the conference, intended to paint the US as a dominant force that exploits the concept of international law, Araghchi stated the fortnight-long engagement demonstrated the dispute could not be settled by armed force. He said the assaults commenced with a US demand for an total Iran submission and culminated with an absolute demand for a truce.

Iran is assured the initial Israeli attacks were mounted with full US knowledge and collaboration, making confidence challenging to reestablish.

Diplomacy Continues the Ultimate Resolution

The foreign minister stated: "Tehran was not the one that had abandoned dialogue; it was America and the Western nations that had always attempted to enforce their will during the negotiations. Negotiations can still be active and continues the primary answer to address disputes, but its requirements, guidelines and tenets must be adhered to."

"If they talk to the Iranian people with the approach of dignity and respect, they will get a response in the identical language."

Restoration and Recovery

In what is described by Iran's diplomats as the conflict of restoration and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was confident Iran's military capacities "are considerably enhanced than before 13 or 14 June of this year. All our capabilities have been restored. We acquired multiple understandings from this engagement; we have discovered our personal limitations and the vulnerabilities of the opponent."

He stated: "We effectively endured this engagement. Our enrichment knowledge, which they aimed to obliterate, stays intact. The sites and gear, if destroyed, will be reconstructed; what is crucial is the will of the Iranian people and then the social solidarity that they targeted, but did not succeed to break. The Iranian people have become stronger, more united, and more supportive of the administration and the nation in the face of this attack."
